After zip lining the rest of the night was ours. I spent most of my time swimming and packing. Afterwards we had one of our last family dinners and then hads a group meeting. This time it was to evaluate the trip!
Afterwards, Victoria and I instead of sleeping... like we should have got really emotional abut all our memories from the trip. We both did not want to go home, or leave each other. It was really sad! But all in all I was really grateful to be part of such a great experience and to have met all the people I traveled with! I have so many new friends from it and I truly love them all!! |
Day 14: MindoThis was sadly our last full day in Ecuador! We began it by waking up at 7:30 to go breakfast. I had some really amazing fruit and rolls. I don't understand why but everyone was fighting over these rolls! You would think that none of us had ever had bread before !
Afterwards, we all hiked around the hotel for about an hour. Once we got back, since it was our last full day in Ecuador, we were given the majority of the morning to do whatever we wanted. I personally went out with a group to go hiking more. Afterwards I jumped in the hotels pool and hot tub before heading out to our next big activity of the day: ziplining! Everyone seemed really excited once we got to the place we'd be ziplining. It was about a serious of ten lines throughout the Mindo forest. I was probably the most afraid of this. I hate heights!!! From the night before until I did the first line of the zipline I was a anxious mess. But surely enough once I started ziplining, I did not want to stop! The sight of the forest form that height was incredible! I probably would have seen more of it, if it did not start downpouring! By the time we were all doen ziplining, we were all soaking wet. Hence why I jumped into the hot top the minute we got back. |
