Mirador "El Mango" |
After spending about 45 minutes here we headed to our last stop of the day: Mirador Del Mango, the mango viewpoint. Although it was exhausting walk up all the steps to the viewpoint, it proved to be worth it. We took a lovely group picture and talked more about Isabella island. After a day full of events we were all ready to go back to our hotel room. Tait announced that we had the rest of our day to ourselves, except for dinner at about 7 pm and then a group meeting afterwards.
So with our free time left, Victoria and I went up to change into bathing suits and then met up with Kevin, Hunter, our TA Jackalyn, Laura to the beach. The beach was absolutely beautiful! The sand was white and the waves were crystal blue with complemented the lava rocks that were on the beach. The guys took time to explore the lifeguard stand while us girls took pictures on the rocks and beach. Although the water was not the warmest, a bunch of us decided to run in together. It was quite the bonding moment!!!! We played in the water and threw seaweed at each other for a good half hour before we got headed back to the hotel. At the end of the night, Victoria and I spent some time in the lobby again talking to our boyfriends and then got ready for bed! |
